Getting To Woodstock
Don’t have a car and not sure how to get to Woodstock from the city? We’ve got you covered! Check out some of these alternative modes of transportation.
Rent a Car and Road Trip
The drive up to the Catskills is breathtaking. Even better, if you’re down to make a few stops — there’s so much to see along the way including Storm King Art Center, a ton of cute towns like New Paltz, Kingston, and much more. Luckily, renting a car is easier than ever through companies like Zip Car, Turo & Car2go.
Without making any stops, the drive is a little less than 3 hours and pretty much a straight shot up I-87 N. Best of all, we have the perfect playlist to keep you jammin’ the whole way.
Catch The Bus
There are multiple buses that go to Woodstock from NYC, the most common being Trailways bus service from Port Authority. Trips can range anywhere from 3 — 4.5 hours and typically cost $30.
If you want to make your ride a bit more comfortable, be sure to check out Line bus service with its luxury amenities and express ride which brings you directly to Woodstock Way Hotel in as little as 2.5 hours. Tickets start at $39.
Time is money — literally. You can shave some time off the trip by taking the Amtrak train from Penn Station to Rhinecliff, NY.
From there, you’re a 20 minute taxi or uber ride away from Woodstock. The trip to Rhinecliff is 1 hour and 45 minutes, with tickets ranging from $49 — $55.
Tag us @rosebudcbd in your stories to let us know if you’ll be joining us for the weekend! We can’t wait to meet you.
